About Joe Koch Construction

Joe Koch Construction began in 1984 specializing in rough framing and finished carpentry.  Four years later Joe purchased STANJIM Homes.  Joe Koch, President of Joe Koch Construction and STANJIM Homes, has an extensive construction background.  He is a member of the Home Builder's Association, Better Business Bureau and is active in the Austintown Growth Foundation. One of his first ventures was Countryside in Austintown. Some of Joe Koch's other successful subdivisions include Stone Hollow, Spring Meadow, and Boulder Creek in Austintown and Huntington Woods in Boardman. Koch Construction also builds offsite.

Bathrooms seem to be the unsung hero of our home. They welcome us in the morning and are usually the last room we visit before we go to sleep. Yet, how often do we really look around our bathrooms and think about how to make the space better, more tranquil, more special?

There are a number of different ways that a bathroom can get a facelift without ripping it out completely and starting new. One of them is to change the colors of the room.

We all know that the top two rooms to remodel are the Kitchen and Bathrooms. In this two part series, we will look at the latest trends in both those rooms and how to maximize them within your budget.

With the kitchens, if you’re looking at outdated cabinetry and countertops, then the glaring answer is to upgrade those. But what exactly should you do? You could just go to the box stores and grab the first set of cabinets that catch your eye and be done with it. No real thought as to what is trending or how it works within your home. Add a mediocre countertop that doesn’t have scratches or stains and viola, up dated kitchen.

But there is so much more that you could do!
