Part 2- Bathroom Trends: Adding Color

Bathrooms seem to be the unsung hero of our home. They welcome us in the morning and are usually the last room we visit before we go to sleep. Yet, how often do we really look around our bathrooms and think about how to make the space better, more tranquil, more special?

There are a number of different ways that a bathroom can get a facelift without ripping it out completely and starting new. One of them is to change the colors of the room. 

Let’s be honest here, your bathroom is probably white, beige or cream, right? Kind of blah. Well, think about adding some color. It doesn’t have to be your entire bathroom, but just adding a splash of color can brighten it up and make it feel fresh and new. Think in terms of color palettes as well. Ladies, look at how your favorite spa is decorated and try to mimic that in your own home. After all, imitation in the sincerest form of flattery.

If you just can’t commit to painting color on your walls (you are a color-phobe) then think of changing your accessories out with more colorful ones. AND your local stores have done all the hard work for you. Just pick the colors you want to showcase and go shopping – most bath stores are organized by color and have everything that matches in one convenient location! Happy Shopping!
