About Joe Koch Construction

Joe Koch Construction began in 1984 specializing in rough framing and finished carpentry. Four years later Joe purchased STANJIM Homes. Joe Koch, President of Joe Koch Construction and STANJIM Homes, has an extensive construction background. He is a member of the Home Builder's Association, Better Business Bureau and is active in the Austintown Growth Foundation. One of his first ventures was Countryside in Austintown. Some of Joe Koch's other successful subdivisions include Stone Hollow, Spring Meadow, and Boulder Creek in Austintown and Huntington Woods in Boardman. Koch Construction also builds offsite.

Happy New Year!

2013 is fast approaching! 3 more days and 2012 will just be another year in the books. Have you already started to jot down your resolutions? If you are like me, and have more than 1, Joe Jr. suggests tackling them one at a time. Trying to balance your already busy life with more commitments (even if they are commitments to yourself) can make it overwhelming to accomplish any of the tasks! So prioritize and work on one thing and make it a habit (like eating better) before moving on.

So with that helpful tip in mind, we'd like to wish you and your family a Healthy, Happy, Prosperous New Year!

Technology has definitely changed our way of life. Most people don't go anywhere without their cell phone and I don't know of very many people who just sit down and watch tv anymore. People are watching TV with their laptop or tablet infront of them, multitasking. It isn't surprising that a lot of companies have realized how important technology has become and have catered their business to it. Even in new home construction, we have the use of a CAD(Computer Aided Drafting) system that helps build housing plans.

From being able to control your lights (& even washer and dryer) from your smart phone or laptop to radiant heating UNDER YOUR DRIVEWAY, here is an awesome article from CNBC.Com that lists 13 of the hottest technology for new homes.
