The Starling is going to boast one beautiful kitchen. We all know that the kitchen is the heart of the home and no matter what, people always tend to gather in the kitchen during family functions (no matter how many times we try to shoo them out). To the left is a 3D rendering of what the kitchen will look like. There is plenty of cabinets, deep drawers to the side of the stove (perfect for your pots and pans) and a beautiful span of countertop space! We've listened to you, our customers, when you told us that you missed kitchen spaces with islands. We've used some modern touches with the island, which can seat 3 people around it and has cabinets for extra storage. If you are a wine lover, consider building this island with a wine fridge and glass storage underneath. 

As you can see, this open concept kitchen will allow for a kitchen table with large seating capacities. No longer is the cook of the house segregated while cooking during the holidays! And hey, maybe since the family can see what you are doing, you might even get offered some help! 

We will be updating the Starling as we move along in the process. Expect to see a photo of the kitchen cabinets and countertops soon!

Building your dream home comes with a lot of questions. When talking with builders, ask to see a list of what is included for your base price when you build. Then compare builder to builder. While one may be less of a base price, they may not include everything that another builder does and then really won't be less when all is said in done. We'd also suggest asking if permits are included in the base price. Those can be costly and dealing with those offices can be quite frustrating.
